  • long-term care homes
  • retirement homes
  • hospitals and childcare centres

Monitors and responds to outbreaks in institutions and community * conducts case and contact management for diseases of public health significance

Inspects personal service settings, including:

  • tattoo and piercing shops
  • nail salons and barber shops

Provides Infection Prevention and Control education and consultation for certain congregate living settings through the South West IPAC Hub * investigates potential lapses of infection prevention and control
